JOB TITLE:  Digital Marketing Manager / Director

DEPARTMENT:  Marketing




As a follow-on to the Company’s successful re-branding campaign in Q2 2018, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for online marketing, media merchandising and the overall activation of the digital space.  This includes social media as well as the entire e-Commerce marketplace (i.e. Direct-To-Consumer, PurePlays, and Brick & Click).  S/he will work closely with our agency partner to direct the varied elements related to social media marketing.  As well, s/he will own the digital eComm calendar, manage the creative asset process, and drive digital channel alignment across all spectrums.  The successful candidate will have a good grasp and understanding of eComm centric site merchandising activities and optimization tactics.  Ideally, s/he will have a working knowledge of


  • Develop and drive overall digital marketing strategy and online executions
  • Manage external agencies, vendor partners and eComm partnerships to align on content strategy and merchandising tactics
  • Manage media and merchandising opportunities with key eCommerce partners including and all of its affiliates, Thrive Market, Boxed, Instacart, etc.
  • For, develop existing SEM, SEO, email, affiliate, programmatic display, paid social, as well as developing new channels opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion and retention
  • Own digital content calendar, email newsletters, etc. by developing both written and visual content that is in-line with brand tone and brand guardrails
  • Develop, copy and write briefs to be used on all online creative assets
  • Demonstrate an ability to build relationships at major key e-Commerce accounts 


  • BA in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • 3 plus years of relevant experience in marketing, Consumer Product Goods (CPG) experience, specifically Food, Beverage, or Beauty a strong plus
  • Prior leadership, management experience, and/or management of agencies a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an outgoing and collaborative personality
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of major projects in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with multiple deadlines
  • Strong design eye and skills
  • Strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Intellectually curious and passionate -- always looking for ways of improving the team's work
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Passionate about food, and/or a plant-based lifestyle a plus
  • Experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments highly desirable
